Lake Michigan College pulled out a dramatic five-set victory over Marian University Ancilla on Thursday, winning 23–25, 25–17, 8–25, 25–19, 16–14 in front of the home crowd at the LMC Gymnasium. After dropping a close first set and responding with a strong second, the Red Hawks struggled in the third but surged back with an efficient .429 hitting performance in set four to force a decisive fifth. LMC carried that momentum into the final frame, hitting .346 behind clutch swings from Payton Miller, who led the team with 17 kills.
Grace Richardson added 12 kills and 5 digs, while Josie Wilson and Mackenzie Ash combined for 12 kills in the middle.
