Lake Michigan College earned a dramatic 6-4 victory over Alpena Community College on October 18, overcoming an early 4-0 deficit to secure a thrilling home win. The Red Hawks were quick to respond after falling behind in the opening minutes, with Ava Meyers and Gillian Allender leading the charge. Meyers scored twice, including the game-winning goal assisted by Shiloh Rosengren, while Allender tallied three goals of her own, helping LMC complete an impressive first-half comeback. Kyra Abel-Warres also added a goal in the rally.
Lake Michigan finished with 19 shots and 10 corner kicks, controlling much of the play after the initial Alpena surge. Goalkeeper Keira Suarez made three saves to help preserve the lead once the Red Hawks completed the comeback.
