Lake Michigan College extended its winning streak with a 3–1 victory over Owens Community College on October 11. The Red Hawks got off to a fast start, with Miguel Guerra-Ruiz converting a corner from Christopher Solis-Salazar in the 5th minute. Sergio Clavijo-Fernandez added another goal in the 24th, followed by Geovani Vargas in the 38th minute to give LMC a commanding 3–0 lead by halftime. Owens scored a penalty in the 58th minute through Jayden Kuhlman, but Lake Michigan's defense and goalkeeper Gabe James held firm to secure the win. The Red Hawks outshot Owens 26–11 and controlled possession for much of the match.
With this victory, LMC continues to build momentum as they head toward the final games of the regular season, aiming to finish strong and make a statement in the postseason.
