Lake Michigan College opened the 2025 season with a hard-fought 1-0 loss to Cuyahoga Community College on September 3. Goalkeeper Gabe James made six saves, keeping the Red Hawks in contention despite a strong early strike from Cuyahoga's Stephen Forges.
