Red Hawks Close Season at Regional Women's 5K Meet
LMC posts personal bests in end of season meet

The Lake Michigan College women's cross country team wrapped up its 2025 season by competing in the NJCAA Region XII Championship meet, closing the year against a deep field of community college programs from across Michigan.
Lake Michigan College was led by freshman Ayana Harris, who capped her season with a personal-best time of 22:29.5 to finish 58th overall. Harris continued her late-season progress in the Red Hawks' final race of the year.
Freshman Evelyn Bettig also closed the season with a personal record, running 23:30.1 to place 71st. Ariel Smith posted a PR of 26:20.1 (86th), while Olivia Howard finished in 28:21.5 (89th). Makenna Rigg (32:18.6, 92nd) and Christina Gibson (32:27.1, 93rd) rounded out the LMC finishers.
