The Red Hawks dropped both matches in Saturday's South Suburban Tournament doubleheader, falling 3–0 to Highland Community College (25–19, 25–13, 25–21) and 3–0 to Milwaukee Area Technical College (25–17, 25–16, 25–22).
Against Highland, LMC was led by Grace Richardson, Payton Miller, and Mara Webb with five kills each, while Tatyanna Hill added six kills and three blocks. In the second match, Miller posted six kills, and Hill added seven, with libero Kinleigh Smith collecting 11 digs to anchor the defense.
Lake Michigan showed fight late in both contests and looks to carry that momentum into their next upcoming match.
