Red Hawks Keep Momentum Alive
The Red Hawks traveled to Indiana tonight to play the Ancilla Chargers.
The team swept the Chargers 25-15, 25-13, 25-11 for the victory. The teams offense and consistent passing paved the way to the win. The offensive players of the game were Jillian Bruckner with 16 kills a .483 hitting percentage, two aces, and six digs. Payton Miller had eight kills and a .263 hitting percentage while Taylor Butler and Sammi Jurgensen earned seven kills each. The defensive leader of the game was Kaylee McDaniel our setter with 16 digs, one solo block, three kills and 41 assists. Kaylee McDaniel also achieved 1,000 career digs while attending Lake Michigan College. Libero Jessica Hand also contributed in the back row earning 12 digs, two kills and five assists.
The Red Hawks host the SMC Road Runners for our Annual Dig Pink match next Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 6:30pm. The team is currently second place in conference with a overall record of 12-17 and a conference record of 7-3. We are Talon Tough!
