Kalamazoo Valley Defeats The Red Hawks
The Cougars defended their home court and secured the win over the Red Hawks in a four-game battle.
The Red Hawks played extremely well the entire match but they couldn't control their unforced errors letting the cougars secure the win. Game one, the team took an early lead but couldn't finish losing 25-21. In game two, the women secured the win with an early lead and finished the game 25-22. In game three and game four the Red Hawks continued to fight but the Cougars home court advantage paved the way for Kalamazoo Valley to secure their second conference win ending the day with a 2-1 record in conference play. The offensive player of the match was Jillian Bruckner with 18 kills, a .188 hitting percentage, and 7 digs. The defensive player of the match was Jessica Hand with 21 digs, zero reception errors and 3 assits. The Red Hawks are currently 1-2 in conference play and will play Ancilla on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at home for their fourth round of conference play.
