Women Fall In State Match Up
The Lady Red Hawks earned a spot in the MCCAA Championship tournament on Oct 28, 2022 after achieving 1st place in the MCCA Western Conference.
This is the first appearance for the volleyball program at this event. Congratulations to the team and coaches for this outstanding achievement. Unfortunately, the team lost in three to the GRCC Raiders (6-25, 15-25, 13-25). Olivia Deeb lead the offense as our setter earning one kill, 14 assists and four digs. Hayleah McFadden was the offensive player of the game with six kills, one dig and one block assist. Karissa Gest had three kills, and two digs while Gabby Cuthbert earned one kill and two digs. Abi Nunez was the defensive player of the game with two kills, 11 digs, and one block assist. Teagan Giannunzio had two assists and eight digs while Charity Dundas had four digs and one kill. Attacking from the middle, both Jermara Blackmon and Faith Lewis earned two kills and one block assist each. The Red Hawks travel to the NJCAA Region XII Tournament on Nov 3-5, 2022 to battle to earn a spot in the NJCAA Division II National Tournament.
