Another Sweep For The Women

The offensive leader of the game was Hayleah McFadden with Eight kills,a .353 hitting percentage, and four digs. Abi Nunez earned seven kills, and 11 digs while Gabby Cuthbert contributed five kills, two aces, two digs, one solo block and one assist block. Attacking from the middle, Faith Lewis earned six kills, one dig, two solo blocks, and three assist blocks while Jermara Blackmon earned five kills, three solo blocks, and two assist blocks. Olivia Deeb set the offense earning one kill, 28 assists, two aces, 10 Digs, and three block assists. The defensive leader of the game was Charity Dundas contributing 14 digs and two assists. Leiana Butler also helped in the back row earning eight digs, and one ace while Teagan Giannunzio earned seven digs and one assist. The team will be headed to compete in the State Championship this Saturday, Oct 28, 2022 at Mott Community College. They will play Grand Rapids Community College at 12:00pm. The winner of this match will compete in the finals against the MCCAA Eastern Conference champion Mott Community College. Be sure to watch the team during post season play as we compete in the Regional tournament Nov 3-5 in Port Huron and battle to earn a spot in the NJCAA National tournament.
