Red Hawks Fall To Stars
The Red Hawks fall to Lansing in four (22-25, 25,10, 19-25, 20-25).
The Stars defense played tough and made it difficult for the Red Hawks to score. The offensive leader of the game was Abi Nunez with six kills, one assist, three aces, 19 digs, and one block assist. Gabby Cuthbert earned one kill, three aces, one block assist and three digs while Hayleah McFadden contributed four kills. Teagan Giannunzio led the defense with 18 digs, two kills, one assist, and one ace. Leiana Butler also contributed defensively with 15 digs, one kill, and two assists while Charity Dundas had one assist and eight digs. Jermara Blackmon, in the middle, contributed five kills, two solo blocks and five assists while Faith Lewis earned one kill, one solo block and one block assist. The Red Hawks are currently 20-10 overall and 7-2 in conference. The Lady Red Hawks next match is at home this weekend against South Suburban and Harper. Go Red Hawks!
