Women Win Conference Opener On The Road
The Lady Red Hawks traveled to Marian University's Ancilla College and won the game 3-1.

Women's soccer won their season opener 3-1 today against a much improved Marian University's Ancilla Charger team. LayRay Paw scored first for the Red Hawks with an assist from Holly Curtiss. The Charger's equalized on a penalty kick before the half to make it 1-1 at the break. Lake Michigan took control and put the game away after goals from Mariah Krone and a Kailie Yarbrough. The women starts the season 1-0 in conference and regional play.
