Red Hawks Rally Late but Fall at Delta, 75-67

Lake Michigan College (4–7) trailed by double digits after three quarters before erupting for 27 points in the final period. Emma Norton led the Red Hawks with 18 points on an efficient 6-of-9 shooting, adding eight rebounds and three blocks. Miley Young matched her with 18 points while dishing out six assists and playing all 40 minutes.
Danai Childs provided a spark off the bench with 14 points, four assists, and three steals, while Serenity Farmer chipped in 11 points and seven rebounds as the Red Hawks cut the margin to single digits late.
Delta (7–7) built its advantage behind balanced scoring and strong rebounding, led by Makayla Watkins' 15 points and nine boards. Despite shooting 43 percent from the field and knocking down five three-pointers, Lake Michigan College couldn't fully close the gap.
The Red Hawks will look to carry the momentum from their fourth-quarter performance into their next contest as conference play begins on January 14 versus Grand Rapids Community College.
