Watson Named Student Athlete of the Week
Aalyah Watson was named MCCAA Western Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

The Michigan Community College Athletic Association Western Conference named Aalyah Watson Student Athlete of the Week due to her contributions to her team. Watson scored 15 points, had three steals, two rebounds, and two assists. She is currently shooting 83 percent from the free throw line and averaging 11 points per game. Coach Kimball stated "Excited to have Aalyah named as our second consecutive player of the week. She has played a key role in our three game winning streak with her outstanding defense and leadership from the point guard spot." Congrats to Aalyah and we cannot wait to see what her future holds. The women head to South Suburban College on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 with a 2:00 pm (EST) tip off.
