Lady Red Hawks Finish Strong Against The Lady Skippers
The women hosted St. Clair Community College last Saturday and defeated them 83-76.
The Lake Michigan College Women's Basketball Team put up their highest scoring number on Friday, December 10, 2021 defeating the Lady Skippers 83-76
Lake Michigan trailed by one at the end of the first quarter, 16-15, but outscored St. Clair 68-60 the rest of the way to secure their second win in a row. This win improved their record to 5-3.
The Lady Red Hawks had four players in double figures, led by Hannah Vallier's big night with 23 points and 20 rebounds. Aalyah Watson recorded 18 points and chipped in nine assists, while Libbee Nason had 19 points, and Aaliyah Reno scored 10 points and had four assists. Vallier was also named the MCCAA Western Conference Player of the Week this week for her efforts.
The women will with host Joliet Junior College on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 with a 5:30 pm tip-off.
