After edging the Jets 1-0 in the opener, the Red Hawks exploded for 15 hits and scored in every inning. Lake Michigan College built a 3-0 lead in the first, added five runs in the second and three in the third, then put the game away with a 12-run fourth inning.
Randi Taylor led the offense with a 4-for-4 performance, including a triple and five RBIs. Kursten Smith went 3-for-3 with five runs scored and three RBIs, while Kamryn Holland added two hits, three RBIs, and two runs scored.
Molly Lieske belted a home run and drove in four runs, and Cecilia Conforti earned the complete-game win while also contributing two RBIs at the plate.
The Red Hawks finished the day with a 24-4 combined scoring advantage to secure the conference doubleheader sweep.
