Red Hawks Explode for 23 Runs in Offensive Showcase vs. Jackson
The Lake Michigan College Red Hawks delivered one of their most explosive offensive performances of the season on April 17, overwhelming Jackson College, 23-4, at home.

After edging the Jets 1-0 in the opener, the Red Hawks exploded for 15 hits and scored in every inning. Lake Michigan College built a 3-0 lead in the first, added five runs in the second and three in the third, then put the game away with a 12-run fourth inning.
Randi Taylor led the offense with a 4-for-4 performance, including a triple and five RBIs. Kursten Smith went 3-for-3 with five runs scored and three RBIs, while Kamryn Holland added two hits, three RBIs, and two runs scored.
Molly Lieske belted a home run and drove in four runs, and Cecilia Conforti earned the complete-game win while also contributing two RBIs at the plate.
The Red Hawks finished the day with a 24-4 combined scoring advantage to secure the conference doubleheader sweep.
