In game one, the Red Hawks put together one of their most complete performances of the season, scoring 16 runs on 18 hits. Kursten Smith led the way with a 4-for-4 effort, finishing a home run shy of the cycle while driving in three runs. Ellory Dykstra also went 4-for-4 with two RBIs, and Paige Clinger added four RBIs to power the offense.
Dykstra was equally impressive in the circle, tossing a complete game and allowing just one run on three hits while striking out seven in the 16–1 win.
Lake Michigan carried that momentum into game two, once again swinging the bats effectively in an 11–4 victory. Randi Taylor turned in a perfect 5-for-5 performance at the plate with two RBIs, while Madi Dotson drove in three runs and Aurora Waldron added two hits and an RBI.
Kursten Smith continued to spark the offense, reaching base five times, scoring three runs, and swiping four bases. Ava Bachman also contributed with two hits and two RBIs.
In the circle, Cecilia Conforti earned the win, allowing four runs over 4.1 innings, while Molly Lieske closed the door with 2.2 scoreless innings of relief.
Across the doubleheader, the Red Hawks combined for 27 runs on 33 hits, showcasing depth throughout the lineup and consistent production from top to bottom.
