In game one, the Red Hawks were led by Gabby Solloway's three-hit performance, while Paige Clinger connected on a home run, and Ava Bachman added an RBI. Lake Michigan held a mid-game lead, but Glen Oaks used timely hitting to secure the 5–3 win. Ellory Dykstra pitched a complete game, allowing five runs (three earned).
Game two proved more challenging, as Glen Oaks erupted for 12 runs in the first inning and never looked back. Lake Michigan managed five hits, with Kursten Smith recording two and Randi Taylor driving in a run.
Despite early pressure at the plate, the Red Hawks couldn't overcome the large deficit. Lake Michigan will look to regroup in its next outing.
