Red Hawks Finish Doubleheader Sweep with 4-0 Shutout of Glen Oaks

After an extra-inning 4-3 win in the opener, the Red Hawks turned to Cecilia Conforti, who delivered a dominant complete-game shutout. Conforti allowed just five hits, walked two, and struck out 10 over seven innings.
Lake Michigan College scored in the second inning and added two more runs in the fourth before tacking on an insurance run in the fifth. Madi Dotson, Conforti, and Ava Bachman each drove in a run, while Kamryn Holland collected two hits, including a triple.
The Red Hawks totaled six hits and stole three bases, with Kursten Smith swiping two bags.
With the win, Lake Michigan College secured the conference doubleheader sweep and extended its momentum heading into the final stretch of the season.
