Lake Michigan began the first game by scoring two runs in the bottom of the first inning. The Lady Lakers answered back when they hit a home run putting their only run on the board. The Lady Red Hawks then continued their streak by scoring two in the third, and seven in the fourth inning. The Lake Michigan College defense stayed strong in the top of the fifth to take the 11-1 win.

Jaidyn Hutsell dominated the mound striking out seven batters and only allowing one walk and one hit. Brenna Madry blasted a home run for the women with two RBI's. Jordyn Swinehart hit a double and a single with two RBI's while Anna Castellucio hit a single with two RBI's. The second game began like the first as the women scored two runs in the first inning from a home run hit by Jordyn Swinehart. Both teams stayed quiet until the fifth inning when Mid Michigan was able to score two runs tieing the game. This was short lived as Swinehart came up to the plate and blasted another home run to take the lead. The Lady Lakers could not produce any more runs due to the dominant Lake Michigan defense. The Lady Red Hawks were not done offensively as the scored five more runs in the sixth and took the 8-2 win.

Jenna Walter, Gabby Rothrock, and McKenzie Smith all hit singles for the women.
