Lake Michigan was able to contain the Charger offense in the first half. It was Red Hawk Jayden Pribyl who scored first with the assist from Daniel Marshall. The men left the field up 1-0 at the half. In the second half, the Chargers kept Lake Michigan at bay and found away to score breaking through the Red Hawk defenders. The game remained tied which pushed the men into overtime. The teams fought back and forth but with six minutes left the Chargers took the lead and the game winning 2-1.
The men have a small break as they travel to Muskegon Community College on Wednesday, September 12, 2019 with a 4:00 pm start.
