Red Hawks Top Jackson College in High-Scoring Road Win, 93-81
The Lake Michigan College Red Hawks delivered a balanced offensive performance Tuesday night, pulling away late for a 93–81 victory over Jackson College Jets.
Lake Michigan College set the tone early, edging ahead 48–46 at halftime before outscoring the Jets 45–35 in the second half. Devon Shelton led all scorers with 20 points off the bench, knocking down four three-pointers to spark the Red Hawks' offense.
Malik Raines added 18 points, nine rebounds, and five assists, while Andrew Leopold chipped in 16 points on efficient shooting from the field and the free-throw line. Jadon Johnson rounded out the double-figure scorers with 12 points, along with six rebounds and three assists.
The Red Hawks shot 40.7 percent from the field and connected on 10 three-pointers, while forcing Jackson College into key mistakes down the stretch. Lake Michigan College's depth and ball movement proved to be the difference as the team secured an impressive road win.
