Red Hawks Receive Recognition
Two men's basketball players were given recognition for their efforts on the court this season.
Two Lake Michigan College men's basketball players received recognition for their efforts put forth on the court this past season. Sophomore Shedderick Porter was named Honorable Mention All-Western Conference. Porter was #11 in the Western Conference averaging 17.3 points per game and averaged 72% from the free throw line. He was #4 shooting 40% from outside of the paint and had 3.1 assists per game.
Freshman Justin Henderson was also named Honorable Mention All-Western Conference. Henderson shot 56% from the free throw line and was #5 in the Western Conference shooting 51% in field goals. He also lead the men with 1.1 blocks per game.
Head Coach Jeremy Schaeffer stated "Shedderick and Justin showed hard work and dedication all year and we are extremely proud of their accomplishments."
The team is back to preparing for next years season.
