The Red Hawks traveled to Joliet Junior College and fell 78-94.
The first half was difficult for the men as they could not find their groove while the Wolves were able to create and execute plays. The Red Hawks fell behind fast and had a difficult time catching up to Joliet walking off the court down 30-48 at the end of the half.
The second half started off different for the men as they began working off all cylinders and began to make plays. At one point they closed the gap by five points, with seven minutes to play, but was short lived as Joliet picked up their pace defensively and offensively. Due to the deficit in the beginning, and the lack of execution, the Red Hawks could not produce enough points to gain a lead and fell 78-94.
James Smith (SO/Chicago, IL) and Bryce Saxton (SO/Cassopolis, MI) were the point leaders both having 18, while Malik Hall (SO/Benton Harbor, MI) produced 10 points.
The men will take a brief break for the holiday and head back on the road to Mott Community College on December, 29, 2017 at 5:30 pm.
