Men Dominate The Night Against Andrews University

Lake Michigan hosted the Cardinals this evening and ended the night with a 64-48 win.

The Red Hawks jumped out swiftly scoring eight quick points right off the bat. Andrews then responded and tied the game up within minutes but Lake Michigan began to take over the momentum in the first half. The Red Hawks were able to hold the Andrews offense at bay while they were able to produce several key plays and connect with the basket. This enabled them to walk off the court up 35-29 in the first half.

The Red Hawks came back out on the court in the second half with determination, even though the lead had changed six times, they found ways to out score the Cardinals. At one point, Lake Michigan was up by eighteen points which solidified the 64-48 win.

Adam Nicks (SO/Indianapolis, IN) was the point leader with 19 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists. James Smith (SO/Chicago, IL) had 12 points, 7 rebounds, 1 steal, and two assists while Malik Hall (SO/Benton Harbor, MI) had 12 rebounds, five points, 1 block, and 1 steal.
