In the opener, Lake Michigan used a six-run fifth inning to pull away in a high-scoring 16–8 victory. Reed Jonkman led the offense with five RBIs, while Collin Hatton added four. Cooper Pritchett also contributed with four runs scored. Marian Ancilla saw strong efforts from Logan Clark and Jose Paris, but couldn't keep pace as their pitching staff allowed 16 runs.
Game two was much closer, as Marian Ancilla built an early 4–1 lead behind Owen Negron's three-hit performance. Lake Michigan battled back, tying the game in the sixth before scoring the winning run in the bottom of the seventh. Pritchett drove in two runs again, while Greg Guernsey added two hits and two runs scored.
Kyler Stratton earned the win in the second game, while Jimmy Szymanski picked up the win in game one. Despite tallying 18 hits in the nightcap, Marian Ancilla left too many runners on base, allowing Lake Michigan to complete the sweep.
