The National Junior College Athletic Association has three criterion for academic excellence which includes: NJCAA All-Academic First Team: 4.00 GPA, NJCAA All-Academic Second Team: 3.80-3.99 GPA, and NJCAA All-Academic Third Team: 3.60-3.79 GPA.
There were three student athletes that were named to NJCAA All-Academic First Team, which were Caleb Burke (Baseball), Alexa Kesterke (Volleyball), and Michael Sibbersen (Baseball). Andis Klavins (Baseball) was named to the NJCAA All-Academic Second Team while Tayha Briggs (Volleyball), Cameron Dalrymple (Baseball), Jarrett DeLand (Baseball), Aaron Federman (Baseball), Jaidyn Hutsell (Softball), Jaguar Jackson (Men's Basketball), Nathaniel Pittman (Men's Soccer), and Madison Vollman (Softball) were all named to the NJCAA All-American Third Team.
There were also three teams that were named NJCAA Academic Teams of the Year which included Baseball, Softball, and Women's Volleyball. Each of these teams had over a 3.0 average on a 4.0 academic scale.
We are so very proud of these young men and women and their accomplishments especially during these trying times. We look forward to watching their success for years to come.
