The women traveled to Glen Oaks Community College and ended the day with 8-0 and 16-5 wins both in five innings.

The Lady Red Hawks came out ready for the win scoring two runs in the first and third innings.  They clinched the 8-0 win in the fifth scoring four more.  Anna Riggenbach (FR/Bridgman, MI) was able to dominate the Lady Raiders along with her strong defense.  She only allowed one hit with eleven strike outs.

Ali Kyles (FR/Buchanan, MI) hit a three run double and a single with an RBI.  Jade Mosier (FR/Buchanan, MI) also hit a two run double along with a single.  Anna Riggenbach hit three singles while Marissa Dodd (FR/Dowagaic, MI) blasted a double.

In the second game, the women started off strong scoring three runs.  The Lady Raiders answered back in the second inning scoring two runs.  Neither team could produce a run in the third but the Lady Red Hawks exploded scoring eight runs in the top of the fourth.  Glen Oaks stepped up and scored one more in the bottom of the fourth but that did not deter Lake Michigan.  They came out in the fifth and scored five more runs and held the Lady Raiders at bay winning 16-5 in five innings.

Karlee Liles (FR/Watervliet, MI) started the game and and pitched two innings and only allowed one earned run as errors plagued the women.  Anna Riggenbach came back in and obtained three strike outs and only allowed one hit.  

Ali Kyles hit three singles but it was Alyssa Allen (FR/Dowagiac, MI) who stepped up blasting a three run homer and Jade Mosier who hit a two run homer that stole the show.  Anna Riggenbach hit a double with two RBI's and two singles with one more RBI.  Angie White (FR/South Haven, MI) hit two singles with two RBI's along with Erica Zandarski (FR/Three Oaks, MI).

The women will host their last home game against Ancilla College on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 10:00 am for a double header.
