The Lady Red Hawks traveled to Jackson Community College and fell 0-1 in the first game and won 3-1 in the second game.

It was a close first game and the Lady Red Hawks had several opportunities to score but they weren't able to cross the plate.  The Lady Jets were able to execute in the second inning and scored the only run of the game.

Anna Riggenbach (FR/Bridgman, MI) started the game and only allowed two hits with eleven strike outs.  Angie White (FR/South Haven, MI), Anna Riggenbach, Ali Kyles (FR/Buchanan, MI) and Kailee Cheek (FR/Watervliet, MI) all hit singles in this game.  

The Lady Jets came out strong in the second game scoring the first run in the first inning, which would end up being their only run.  Lake Michigan did not give up and they were able to score in the third, fourth, and fifth innings, winning the 3-1 ball game.

Alyssa Allen (FR/Dowagiac, MI) and Marissa Dodd (FR/Dowagaic, MI) both and singles with RBI's.  Anna Riggenbach hit two singles while Angie White, McKenzie Kiggins, and Ali Kyles all hit singles.  Madison Whitlow (FR/Three Oaks, MI) started the game and had two strike outs and one hit.  Anna Riggenbach came in the bottom of the third and finished the game with seven strike outs and obtained the win.

The women will travel to Glen Oaks Community College on Friday, April 28, 2017 for a double header at 3:00 pm.
