Women's Basketball - Mon, Feb. 27, 2017

The women traveled down to Ancilla College and ended the night with a 67-62 win.

The women started the game ahead in the first few minutes but fell behind fast when the Lady Chargers took advantage of their home court.  The Lady Red Hawks remained down in the the first and second quarters leaving the half down 33-27.  The women went back and forth with the Lady Red Hawks almost taking the lead on several occasions but couldn't quite get it done until the last few minutes of the game when Kelsee Kinder (SO/Dearborn, MI) was able to connect with a few three pointers.  This gave the women the opportunity to gain momentum and never looked back, as the Lady Chargers began to get into foul trouble, winning 67-62.

Haley Madison (SO/St. Joseph, MI) stood out this evening with a double double, having 17 points and 12 rebounds.  Hailey Maas (SO/St. Joseph, MI) scored 15 points while Jade Mosier (FR/Buchanan, MI) also had 15 points and 6 rebounds.

The women will travel to Kellogg Community College for their last conference game on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 5:30 pm.
