Three Lady Red Hawks volleyball players received post conference accolades for their outstanding performance throughout the 2016 Volleyball season.

Bailee May (FR/Centreville) was named to the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) All-Western Conference 2nd Team and Western Conference All-Freshman Team.  Bailee is ranked 2nd in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II rankings for her Hitting Percentage with 361 kills maintaining a .455% average.  She is also 32nd in the nation for Blocks averaging 1.12 per game with a total of 136 along with 39th for Kills.  Bailee was an integral part of this years team and we cannot wait to see what next year brings for this up and coming star.

Rachel Riedel (FR/Stevensville) was also named to the MCCAA All-Western Conference 2nd Team and Western Conference All-Freshman Team.  Rachel was ranked 12th in the NJCAA Division II standings for Digs Per Set and 11th for Digs, accumulating 713 digs on the year.  Her tenacity on the court helped her teammates keep the volley alive throughout the entire year and we look forward to seeing what she accomplishes in the future.

Payton Szlanfucht (FR/Niles) was awarded MCCAA All-Western Conference Honorable Mention.  Payton is ranked 3rd in the NJCAA Assists Per Set averaging 10.92 per game with 1310 assists and 24th for Service Aces Per Set.  Payton stepped up and led the team with determination and fire.  She is also apart of the Nursing Program at Lake Michigan College, which is an accomplishment within itself as a freshman.

We are proud of all of the women and look forward to the 2017 season.
